North Devon is one of the undiscovered jewels of England. Located in
the west of the country it is a land of beautiful green hills, stunning
coastlines and Atlantic waves that make it a surfing hot spot.

As well as the scenery, the region is seeped in history and legend.
Fierce battles have been fought here, from Vikings and Saxons to
Roundheads and Cavaliers and the wild coast was home to pirates
and smugglers for many centuries.

Tintagel in nearby Cornwall is reputed to be the home of King
Arthur's camelot, and from the North Devon coast you can see the
island of Lundy.

The towns of Bideford and Barnstaple are traditional port and market
towns with small populations and reputations for friendliness.
